The Clayton Dabney Foundation provides needy families, with children in the last stages of terminal cancer, assistance in creating everlasting memories. This 501c3 organization was established in honor of Clayton Dabney who died at the age of six from mucle tissue cancer in 1995. Children s Medical Center of Dallas estimates that they will diagnose approxiamtely 180 new children s cancer malignancies each year, of which, 20% will become terminal. This estimate is true for most all major children s cancer centers in the US. More than half of these families are struggling financially. Our goal at CDF is to provide the last wishes of these dying children and help provide the families enhanced quality of life and joyful memories for their children before the end. For when the child is gone all that s left are the memories.
