Lighthouse of Oakland County, Inc. was founded in 1972 as a back door ministry of a local church. Since that time Lighthouse has grown into one of the most respected non-profit agencies in Oakland County, Michigan, providing over 70,000 services in the year ending June 30, 2006. Lighthouse includes three subsidiaries: Lighthouse Emergency Services, Lighthouse PATH transitional housing, and Lighthouse Community Development. Our vision is to be the model provider of a continuum of human services that inspire and facilitate the achievement of self-sufficiency for individuals and the stabilization and revitalization of the communities we serve.
