Alternative Community Living, Inc. dba NewPASSAGES services are designed to improve individual health and welfare. They reflect a corporation-wide commitment to compassion and personal dignity. For all NewPASSAGES programs, the notion of consumer integration with the community goes beyond simply being out of an institution. Real integration is achieved when persons become part of their community-not as a group but as individuals. To this end, NewPASSAGES emphasizes consumer empowerment. We believe that the rehabilitation process is facilitated when there is a partnership between the consumer, staff and family/advocates.
