The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence is a national nonprofit organization headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois. Founded by State Farm Insurance Company in May of 1995, the Corporate Alliance is the first national organization formed by businesses to address partner violence prevention through workplace intervention. Areas of focus include workplace education programs regarding partner violence, dating violence prevention programs, and violence prevention education for young children. The Corporate Alliance has corporate members and affiliates reaching over a million employees nationwide. Members include Allstate, Altria, American Express, The Avon Foundation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Blue Shield of California Foundation, CIGNA, Country Companies, Eastman Kodak, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Lifetime Television, Liz Claiborne, Northern Trust Company, Mary Kay, State Farm Insurance Companies, Verizon Wireless, Verizon Communications, and The World Bank Group. Internationally, CAEPV has a sister alliance in the United Kingdom (Corporate Alliance Against Domestic Abuse - UK) and the Hurriyet Newspaper Group as a Corporate member in Turkey.
