One of several Catholic Charities operated, affordable and federally assisted buildings serving people who are 62 or older, are able to care for themselves and have very low income. Most of these housing units have been constructed under the Section 202 Supportive Housing for Older Adults program of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The majority of the residents served at the facilities receive rental assistance through government programs. This location is a federally assisted housing site. Residents are responsible for their own cooking, housekeeping, laundry and personal care. Studio and one-bedroom apartments have full kitchens and private baths. The locations have planned, informal social and recreational activities. Features at most of the sites include a medical emergency call system that is monitored 24 hours a day, resident associations, activities, community room with kitchen, libraries, on-site laundry facilities and monthly newsletters.
