About Pumh Foundation
PUMH Foundation is charged with supporting and expanding the philanthropic efforts of Peninsula United Methodist Homes, Inc. on behalf of its continuing care retirement communities and in expanding the mission and services of PUMH, Inc. to provide increased outreach and services for all older adults in Delaware and Maryland. Working with a Board of Directors and volunteer Fund Development Committees, the Foundation s purpose is to raise funds for PUMH, Inc. and PUMH of Maryland, Inc. owned or managed communities by providing expert advice when a fund-raising campaign is required; offering individuals or groups education and information about charitable giving; and expanding the opportunities for PUMH owned and managed communities to increase services and programs. The Foundation is the fund-raising arm for PUMH, Inc. The Foundation and the Board of Directors, providing stewardship and oversight of donor funds, disburses these contributions to PUMH, Inc. to respond to urgent community needs and foster long-term legacies in caring, diversity, excellence, integrity and trust.
