Housing contractor administers the Conn. Dept. of Social Services subsidized housing programs including Section 8, Rental Assistance Program (RAP), and Transitionary Limited Rental Assistance Program (T-RAP).Elegibility:Family has received TFA but is not currently receiving TFA; Must file application for T-RAP within six months of leaving TFA; Must be living in privately owned rental housing and must not already be receiving a rental subsidy; An adult member of the household must be employed for at least 12 hours per week or an adult member must be employed and the family has income that exceeds the TFA payment standard. Hours of operation:M-F: 8:30am-4:30pm Application must be filed within six months of leaving TFA; Client obtains a referral letter from their DSS worker; Client fills out the pre-application form on the other side of the referral letter; Client then mails the completed application to John D Amelia and Associates.
