The need for SPIN is greater than ever. This year is a particularly difficult one for many working-poor, low income families due to the poor economy and the housing market crisis. We are witnessing a dramatic increase of families facing homelessness and financial crisis in our community. Approximately 35,000 residents of Orange County experienced homelessness during 2008, and the problem appears to be escalating.
