About Kids-Computers-Community
Kids*Computers*Community seeks to close the digital divide* in the Sacramento region and to improve the quality of the environment by keeping computers and related equipment out of the landfill. In order to accomplish these goals the corporation seeks to solicit donations of computers from businesses and individuals. These computers are evaluated for performance and function and repaired if feasible. Functioning, more recent models are gifted to individuals, schools or non-profit organizations on the basis of demonstrated need. Non-functioning and older computers are recycled by a reputable electronics recycling company.
