About Adopt A Family Of Marin
The goal of Adopt a Family of Marin is to prevent homelessness and enable families to retain their status as productive members of the community. We provide temporary financial and emotional support to families in crisis due to illness, loss of employment, a reduction in work hours, abuse by a spouse or other catastrophes. We believe that every family deserves respect, dignity and a place to call home. Emergency Assistance Program The overall goal of this program is to prevent homelessness and provide stability for low-income families in crisis in Marin County. * Financial assistance including rent, security deposits, utility payments, food vouchers, auto repair * Comprehensive Assessment * Case Management * Emotional Support There are several additional programs providing financial support of families and distributed by Adopt A Family.
